Karmine Corp enters the Worlds 2026 Play-In upper bracket final as the clear favorite against MVK Esports, with trader consensus reflecting an implied probability near 83 percent for the LEC third seed. KC rallied from a 2-1 deficit to defeat Cloud9 3-2 on Day 1, showcasing bot-lane strength from Caliste and resilience despite acknowledged execution issues in the series. MVK, the LCP third seed, arrives with strong momentum after sweeping FURIA 3-0 through aggressive skirmishing and teamfighting led by jungler Gury and mid laner Chika. The Vietnamese roster features several Worlds debutants relying on mechanical skill and early-game tempo, but faces its stiffest test yet against KC’s greater international experience and roster depth. The winner advances toward Swiss Stage qualification while the loser drops to the lower bracket.
