This market will resolve based on the highest temperature recorded in the 'Daily Observations' table on Weather Underground, not the figure displayed in the 'Day High & Low' summary section; in the event of any discrepancy between the two, the Daily Observations table shall be the primary resolution source not the Day High & Low section. This market will resolve to the temperature range that contains the highest temperature recorded at the Taipei Songshan Airport Station in degrees Celsius on 6 Sep '26. The resolution source for this market will be information from Wunderground, specifically the highest temperature recorded for all times on this day for the Taipei Songshan Airport Station, available here: https://www.wunderground.com/history/daily/tw/taipei/RCSS. In the event that there is no data for the observation date by 11:59 PM ET on the day following the observation date, this market will resolve to the lowest bracket. To toggle between Fahrenheit and Celsius, click the gear icon next to the search bar and switch the Temperature setting between °F and °C. This market will resolve once the first data point for the following date has been published on the resolution source, or by 11:59 PM ET on the day following the observation date, whichever comes first. The resolution source for this market measures temperatures to whole degrees Celsius (eg, 9°C). Thus, this is the level of precision that will be used when resolving the market. Revisions to temperatures recorded within this market's timeframe will be considered until the first datapoint for the following date has been published, after which any alterations will not be considered.

Recent forecasts for Taipei on September 6 show persistent cloud cover, scattered to widespread rain, and elevated humidity suppressing peak daytime heating below the seasonal average of roughly 31°C. Official model guidance from sources including GFS and ECMWF highlights northerly or northwesterly flow advecting cooler maritime air, combined with reduced solar insolation from thick cloud layers and ongoing precipitation, which limits surface warming and keeps the diurnal range narrow. Market-implied odds clustered tightly around 27–28°C reflect this consensus across ensemble runs, with small divergences in timing of heaviest rain or wind shifts differentiating those thresholds; traders weigh these against historical September maxima and the resolution criteria of official Central Weather Administration station readings. Updated model outputs and real-time observations will likely refine probabilities before resolution.
