Titouan Droguet holds the clear edge in ranking and recent pedigree as the No. 69 seed facing No. 168 wildcard Lukas Neumayer in the final qualifying round on Vienna’s indoor hard courts. Droguet reached a career-high ranking after strong Challenger results including titles in Cassis and Saint-Tropez, though he dropped a tight three-setter to Daniel Altmaier in Lyon just days earlier. Neumayer, playing on home soil with local support, produced his most convincing recent outing by dispatching fourth seed Vít Kopřiva in straight sets. The pair’s only prior meeting came on clay in 2022, offering limited insight for this surface. Market pricing reflects the ranking gap tempered by Neumayer’s momentum and home factor, with traders viewing the matchup as competitive but favoring the higher-ranked Frenchman’s baseline consistency and experience.
