Kenny de Schepper, the veteran French left-hander ranked near 850-950, enters this M25+H Bagnères-de-Bigorre hard-court encounter with far more professional experience and a career-high ATP ranking in the top 100, though his 2026 results show a 6-13 record marked by early exits in challengers and ITF events. Stefan Seifert, a 41-year-old German ranked around 1100-1300 with a stronger 10-9 mark this season primarily on clay, brings momentum from recent ITF wins but limited success at this level on hard surfaces. De Schepper’s serve and baseline consistency on home-soil hard courts contrast with Seifert’s lower-ranked status, while both players’ advanced ages highlight the importance of recent form, recovery, and any late withdrawal or scheduling factors in the draw.
