Several NHL clubs have opened the 2026-27 season with strong records and positive goal differentials that align with historical paths to 100 points, including the Carolina Hurricanes at 28 points through 18 games, the Boston Bruins, Minnesota Wild, and Edmonton Oilers each at 25 points in 17 contests, and the New Jersey Devils at 22 points in 16. Early projections from multiple analytics models place five to eight teams on pace for 100-plus, driven by depth scoring, goaltending stability, and favorable early schedules. Trader consensus reflects these trajectories while accounting for the 66-to-70 games remaining, where injuries, travel demands, and divisional matchups can shift outcomes. Recent form in the past week has reinforced positioning for the top Eastern and Central clubs, with limited notable roster changes reported from official sources.
This market will resolve to "Yes" if the listed team records 100 or more points during the 2026-27 NHL regular season. Otherwise, the associated market will resolve to "No". If at any point it becomes impossible for the listed team to record 100 or more points during the 2026-27 NHL regular season (e.g. they are mathematically eliminated), the associated market will resolve to "No". Any tiebreaker will be considered part of the NHL regular season. If the 2026-27 NHL regular season is cancelled, postponed after April 30, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, or it cannot be determined whether the listed team has recorded 100 or more points within that timeframe, this market will resolve to "No". The primary resolution source will be official information from the NHL; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
