Carlos Alcaraz enters the Rolex Paris Masters quarterfinal as the clear favorite on indoor hard courts, holding a dominant 6-1 head-to-head edge over Taylor Fritz and benefiting from extra rest after a third-round walkover. The second seed has won seven of his last eight indoor matches, including the Vienna title, while maintaining strong recent form across Tokyo and other events. Fritz, the 11th seed, arrives battle-tested after three wins in Paris—including a straight-sets victory over Arthur Fils for his 100th Masters 1000 win—but trails significantly in the race to Turin. A victory would boost Fritz's ATP Finals qualification hopes by surpassing Rafael Jodar, whereas defeat would likely end those chances. Fritz's elite serve hold rate and ace production on fast indoor surfaces offer realistic upset potential in a best-of-three format.
