Ha Eum Lee, an 18-year-old South Korean ranked around No. 714, brings recent grass-court momentum from an Australian ITF title and solid hard-court results in China and Kazakhstan into the W15 Yeongwol hard-court event, where home support and local scheduling familiarity provide an edge. Michika Ozeki, the 34-year-old Japanese veteran ranked near No. 587-647, offers extensive ITF hard-court experience with multiple deep runs and titles in 2025-2026 Asian events, though her recent form shows inconsistency against younger opponents. The matchup pits Lee's developing power and athleticism against Ozeki's tactical steadiness and doubles-proven endurance on the surface; no recent head-to-head exists, leaving recent hard-court win rates and physical freshness as primary variables for the outcome.
