Nathan Anthony Barki enters the M15 Bali round-of-16 matchup on hard courts with strong recent momentum as the local player. The 21-year-old Singapore-born Indonesian advanced to the quarterfinals in the prior series by upsetting eighth seed Pablo Perez Ramos in three sets and then defeating compatriot Anthony Susanto via retirement after taking the opening set. Barki holds a 4-6 record in his last 10 matches but benefits from home conditions and familiarity with the Bali Beach Country Club surface. Kai-I Wang, a 22-year-old Taiwanese player ranked near 1,550, arrives with inconsistent 2026 form marked by multiple straight-set losses in M15 and M25 events across Asia, including defeats to higher-ranked opponents on hard courts. The pair has no prior head-to-head record.
