Anna Kalinskaya enters as the clear favorite against Xinyu Wang in this US Open second-round hard-court matchup, backed by her No. 21 ranking, 25-17 2026 record, and 2-0 hard-court head-to-head edge. Both players advanced comfortably in straight sets in the opening round—Kalinskaya over Anna Blinkova and Wang over Emiliana Arango—but Kalinskaya’s stronger recent consistency, top-30 results, and experience on outdoor hard courts give her the edge in the eyes of traders. Wang’s solid baseline game and prior US Open progress offer upset potential, though her recent struggles against higher-ranked opponents underscore the competitive gap reflected in current implied probabilities.
