Ben Shelton enters the Rolex Paris Masters quarterfinal as the higher-ranked player and No. 3 seed, riding a career-best 43-win season and a strong indoor hard record that includes efficient serving and high first-serve points won in his R16 comeback over Arthur Rinderknech. Tommy Paul, the No. 12 seed, arrives with sharp recent form after straight-sets wins over Holger Rune and Quentin Halys, plus strong net play and serve percentages that helped him reach this stage while chasing ATP Finals qualification. The pair split their four prior meetings 2-2, with Paul claiming their most recent indoor encounter in Dallas. On this surface, Shelton’s power and break-point conversion rate give him a modest edge in trader consensus, though Paul’s consistency and variety keep the matchup competitive.
