Mexico's status as defending 2025 Gold Cup champions underpins trader consensus at 53% for the 2027 title, supported by consistent regional dominance and a deep talent pool despite mixed recent friendlies. The United States at 31.5% reflects strong historical performance, including multiple past titles, plus advantages from co-hosting the 2026 World Cup cycle and squad depth. The newly announced two-group-of-eight format, confirmed November 5, heightens competitiveness by guaranteeing tougher early matchups and four group games per team, while ongoing CONCACAF Nations League quarterfinals determine much of the field and create qualification volatility. Lower probabilities for Canada and Central American sides highlight their solid recent form but limited depth relative to the top two.
This market will resolve according to the team that wins the 2027 CONCACAF Gold Cup. If at any point it becomes impossible for a listed team to win the 2027 CONCACAF Gold Cup per the rules of CONCACAF (e.g., they are eliminated), the corresponding market will resolve to "No". If the 2027 CONCACAF Gold Cup is cancelled, postponed after July 25, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, or there is otherwise no winner declared within that timeframe, this market will resolve to "Other". The primary resolution source will be official information from CONCACAF; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
