Daniel Salazar enters the M15 Szczawno round of 16 on clay as the higher-ranked player (around 700-800) with greater ITF experience and a busier 2026 schedule featuring multiple deep runs, including a final at M15 Bielsko Biala. Wojciech Marek, ranked near 1455, holds a strong 19-5 record this year on clay and benefits from home-country support after a three-set first-round win. Both players favor clay, but Salazar’s deeper recent results at this level and head-to-head edge in comparable matches shape trader consensus toward him in what remains a competitive matchup given Marek’s efficiency and local conditions. No major injuries or withdrawals have altered the field.
