This market will resolve to “Yes” if the named individual wins and accepts the 2028 nomination of the Democratic Party for U.S. president. Otherwise, this market will resolve to “No”.
The resolution source for this market will be a consensus of official Democratic Party sources.
Any replacement of the democratic nominee before election day will not change the resolution of the market.
The wide-open 2028 Democratic field remains fragmented after the 2024 loss, with no dominant frontrunner and trader consensus reflecting uncertainty over progressive versus establishment paths. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez holds the top position amid speculation about her potential bid and visible party-base energy, while Jon Ossoff and Gavin Newsom sit close behind despite Ossoff’s public statements ruling out a run and Newsom’s focus on state-level resistance to federal policy. Upcoming 2026 midterms, early primary calendar decisions, and polling among key voting blocs could shift momentum, keeping probabilities tightly bunched as candidates test national viability without declared campaigns.
