This market will resolve to "Colorado Rockies" if the Colorado Rockies win the game. If the game is postponed, this market will remain open until the game has been completed. If the game is canceled entirely, with no make-up game, or ends in a tie, this market will resolve 50-50. The primary resolution source for this market is the official final statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. The St. Louis Cardinals (71-72) enter Sunday's series finale at Coors Field four games behind the final NL wild-card spot, riding momentum from Friday's 7-6 comeback win capped by Ivan Herrera's three-run ninth-inning homer. They dropped Saturday's contest 10-7 after a six-run Rockies fifth inning erased an early lead. Kyle Leahy (10-4, 3.13 ERA) takes the mound against Tanner Gordon (1-4, 5.18 ERA) in a matchup that favors the Cardinals on paper, though Coors Field's altitude has produced high-scoring affairs throughout the series. St. Louis holds a 3-2 edge in the season series and plays with playoff implications on the line, while the last-place Rockies (55-87) show little remaining motivation despite strong recent home hitting. Multiple injuries on both rosters, particularly to Colorado pitchers, add further uncertainty to the outcome.
