Pat Murphy's guidance of the Milwaukee Brewers to MLB's best regular-season record and the NL pennant has solidified his position as the clear frontrunner for NL Manager of the Year, reflecting strong trader consensus around his sustained success. Walt Weiss stands as the primary alternative after leading the Atlanta Braves to the NL East title in his first season at the helm. The BBWAA vote emphasizes regular-season results over postseason outcomes, with Murphy's organizational continuity and win totals setting him apart from other candidates. Recent Brewers achievements have further reinforced market pricing in his favor.
