This market will resolve to "Boston Red Sox" if the Boston Red Sox win the game. If the game is postponed, this market will remain open until the game has been completed. If the game is canceled entirely, with no make-up game, or ends in a tie, this market will resolve 50-50. The primary resolution source for this market is the official final statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 24 hours after the event's conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead.
The Boston Red Sox enter this Fenway Park series with strong momentum after sweeping the Orioles, including back-to-back shutouts and a 79-65 record that keeps them in the AL East playoff mix. Their recent form shows improved pitching depth despite multiple injuries to key arms and position players such as Ceddanne Rafaela and Willson Contreras. The Angels, at 54-89 and mired in an 11-of-13 skid, continue to struggle on the road with limited offensive output and a rotation featuring Grayson Rodriguez. Mike Trout remains in the lineup after a minor hand issue, but the team sits far out of contention. These contrasting trajectories and home-field edge shape the current implied probabilities in this matchup.
