Heather Watson enters this US Open women's qualifying second-round match on hard courts with clear experience advantages, having battled back from a set down to defeat sixth seed Claire Liu in round one. The 34-year-old Briton, a former top-40 player seeking her first main-draw appearance in five years, brings major-tournament pedigree and proven resilience on the surface. Angela Fita Boluda, ranked around 200 and coming off a straight-sets win over Zhu Lin, offers solid recent ITF results and a career-high near 190 but lacks Watson's Grand Slam exposure. The Spaniard's younger profile and consistent baseline game create upset potential in best-of-three, though Watson's form and mental edge shape current trader consensus around the matchup.
