Linda Noskova enters as the clear favorite against Lanlana Tararudee in the 2026 US Open second round, with trader consensus reflecting her No. 6 ranking, Wimbledon title, and superior hard-court experience. Noskova advanced in straight sets over Katie Volynets after saving multiple break points in a tight first set, demonstrating the ability to raise her level on demand. Tararudee, ranked No. 76 with a career-high of 72, reached this stage by defeating Elvina Kalieva in three sets but lacks prior meetings against top-10 opponents and has a more limited WTA win rate. The hard-court surface favors Noskova’s power game and recent form, while Tararudee’s recent Challenger success and solid qualifying path provide limited upset potential in a matchup defined by experience and ranking gaps.
