Aryna Sabalenka enters this Cincinnati Open round-of-16 matchup as the clear favorite against Sara Bejlek, reflecting her status as world No. 1 with a strong 2026 hard-court record and multiple titles. Bejlek, ranked around No. 35, has posted a notable run through qualifying and early rounds, defeating Karolina Pliskova, Barbora Krejcikova, and Ekaterina Alexandrova to reach this stage for the first time against the top seed. The pair has no prior head-to-head history, and the hard-court surface aligns with Sabalenka’s aggressive baseline power and recent momentum from events like Toronto. Bejlek’s improved consistency and youth offer some upset potential, but the ranking and experience gap heavily shapes trader consensus on the outcome.
