Mia Ristic holds a clear edge in this US Open women's qualifying match on hard courts due to her superior WTA ranking near 182-219 compared to Ayana Akli's position around 265-293, along with a recent career-high singles mark achieved in August 2026. The 20-year-old Serbian has shown stronger recent form and consistency in ITF and WTA-level events, while the 25-year-old American Akli brings home-crowd support and doubles experience but trails in singles results. With no prior head-to-head meetings, the matchup hinges on Ristic's serve and baseline power against Akli's potential adaptability on the fast surface; both players seek main-draw entry, making current form, fitness, and any late qualifying adjustments key variables in trader assessments of implied probabilities.
