Jessica Bouzas Maneiro enters the WTA Cincinnati Open first-round matchup holding a modest edge over Anna Bondar, driven by her higher ranking near No. 63 and stronger overall 2026 results compared to Bondar’s No. 78 standing. Both players arrive after competing in Toronto, where Bondar notched a straight-sets win over a top-55 opponent while Bouzas Maneiro fell to Elina Svitolina in three sets. Bouzas Maneiro’s hard-court form has been uneven, with just one victory in her last six matches on the surface, leaving the contest closely contested on outdoor hard courts. No head-to-head history exists between the 23-year-old Spaniard and the 29-year-old Hungarian, and neither side reports notable injury concerns entering the match.
