Anastasiia Sobolieva enters the Montreux WTA 125K first round as the higher-ranked player at No. 194 against Mina Hodzic at No. 275, with the Ukrainian holding a perfect 1-0 head-to-head after a dominant 6-1, 6-0 clay-court semifinal victory in Gdansk in June. Sobolieva has posted strong recent results on clay, including ITF titles and deep runs in W100 and W50 events, while Hodzic has shown mixed form with several early exits in European ITF tournaments this summer. Both players compete on their preferred surface in this indoor-clay matchup, where Sobolieva’s superior ranking, recent title-winning momentum, and prior straight-sets win over Hodzic shape trader consensus around her favored implied probability.
