Francesca Curmi, the Maltese player ranked near 239, has compiled a solid 70% win rate over her last 10 matches, mostly on clay at ITF W75 and W100 events, though her results remain concentrated below the main tour. Their only prior meeting came on clay in 2022, where Curmi prevailed in a three-set marathon. Both competitors arrive with recent clay-court activity, and the surface at Montreux favors baseline consistency and endurance over raw power.
