Coco Gauff enters the Cincinnati Open semifinal as the clear favorite against Sara Bejlek, reflecting her higher ranking, deeper experience in WTA 1000 events, and strong defensive baseline game on outdoor hard courts. Bejlek, ranked around No. 35, has generated momentum with a career-best run, including straight-sets upsets over world No. 1 Aryna Sabalenka and Madison Keys to reach her first semifinal at this level. Gauff has navigated her half efficiently with wins over Samsonova, Li, and Bouzkova, showing improved resilience after early-set deficits. The first meeting between the players highlights the experience gap, though Bejlek’s recent form and ball-striking could extend rallies if she maintains consistency. Traders price Gauff’s implied probability well above 80 percent based on these factors.
