This market will resolve according to the winner of the National Bank Open presented by Rogers (WTA 1000 Toronto 2026), currently scheduled for August 1 – August 13, 2026. If this tournament is postponed after August 27, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, canceled, or a winner has not been declared within this timeframe, this market will resolve to "Other." If multiple players are declared winner, this market will resolve in favor of the player whose name comes first alphabetically. The resolution source for this market will be official information from the tournament organizer, the WTA (wtatennis.com) or National Bank Open (nationalbankopen.com); however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
Iga Swiatek's dominant position in the WTA 1000 Toronto winner market stems from her commanding run through the 2026 National Bank Open, culminating in a straight-sets final victory over Elena Rybakina to claim her 26th WTA title and first of the season. The Polish world No. 1 has shown elite hard-court form, highlighted by a semifinal reversal against Elina Svitolina and consistent ranking-point accumulation that underscores her edge in the Race to the WTA Finals. Traders' near-certain pricing reflects Swiatek's strong head-to-head history, superior movement and consistency on this surface, and overall season trajectory compared to the field. Rybakina's low implied probability accounts for her solid serving but limited success against Swiatek in recent encounters. Realistic shifts remain possible only in rare cases such as a major injury withdrawal or unforeseen scheduling disruption before final resolution, though current results have locked in the outcome.
