Karmine Corp has emerged as the frontrunner from the Play-In bracket after a 3-2 comeback win over Cloud9 and a 3-0 sweep of MVK Esports, positioning the LEC side for the October 18 final against the winner of FURIA versus MVK. Only the Play-In victor advances to the Swiss Stage starting October 23 in Allen, Texas, where 19 teams must secure three wins—via best-of-one then best-of-three formats under Fearless Draft rules—to reach the best-of-five knockout bracket. LCK and LPL squads like Gen.G, Hanwha Life, Bilibili Gaming, and Anyone's Legend enter with superior recent form and historical dominance, while roster stability, patch 26.20 adaptations, and side selection advantages in later Swiss rounds shape advancement odds. Cloud9's early elimination highlights the narrow margin for LCS and wildcard representatives.
This market will resolve to "Yes" if the listed team reaches the Knockout Stage of the 2026 League of Legends World Championship (Worlds 2026), currently scheduled for October 15 to November 14, 2026, with the Knockout Stage scheduled to begin on November 3, 2026. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No". A team reaches the Knockout Stage if it is officially confirmed as one of the eight teams advancing from the Swiss Stage (scheduled for October 23 to October 31, 2026) to the Knockout Stage, per official tournament rules. If at any point it becomes impossible for the listed team to reach the Worlds 2026 Knockout Stage (e.g. it is eliminated in the Play-In or the Swiss Stage, or withdraws from the tournament), the associated market will resolve to "No". If Worlds 2026 is canceled, postponed after December 14, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or the Knockout Stage participants have not been determined within this timeframe, this market will resolve to "No". The resolution source for this market will be official information from the tournament organizer, Riot Games, via the LoL Esports website (https://lolesports.com). However, a consensus of credible reporting (e.g., Liquipedia at https://liquipedia.net/leagueoflegends/World_Championship/2026) may also be used.
