- Will Valve add Cobblestone to the map pool by December 31?3¢3%
Valve continues its deliberate approach to CS2 map rotations, with the Active Duty pool last updated in July 2026 when Cache replaced Overpass after Premier Season 4. Cobblestone has remained absent from competitive play since its 2018 removal, and recent September 2026 datamining by Gabe Follower confirmed ongoing asset and audio work on a potential remake—likely featuring a snow theme—following major patches that introduced Rush mode and Premier changes. Valve typically adjusts the seven-map pool after Majors or season resets, one map at a time, with the next Premier season and PGL Major Singapore 2026 approaching in late 2026. No official confirmation or timeline exists, and historical patterns show multi-year gaps between community demand and releases.
