This market will resolve to the new hero Valve announces at The International 2026 (TI 15), scheduled for August 13, 2026 to August 23, 2026, in Shanghai, China. If Valve announces more than one new hero, this market will resolve to "Other". If The International 2026 is canceled or postponed beyond September 6, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, this market will resolve to "Other". The resolution source for this market will be official information from Valve Corporation via official Dota 2 channels; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
Traders see a tight race for the hero announcement at The International 2026 because Valve has released only one new hero per year recently, with Arjun appearing on the experimental server alongside earlier Bartfrog testing yet no confirmed reveal tied to the Shanghai main event. This leaves "no hero" at 40.5% as the leading outcome while Arjun sits at 26% and any different hero at 18%, reflecting crowd-sourced uncertainty over timing, patch scheduling, and Valve's preference for major updates outside the tournament window. The clustered probabilities around 50% for several options highlight how test-server leaks have boosted visibility without shifting consensus toward a firm announcement, as historical patterns show delayed releases even after internal builds surface.
