This market will resolve to "Yes" if Zohran Mamdani says the listed term during his next livestream on the NYC Mayor's Office official YouTube Channel. Otherwise, the market will resolve to "No". If no such announcement happens by August 31, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, "-No Qualifying Event-" will resolve to "Yes" and all other brackets will resolve to "No". If Mamdani officially ceases to be New York City mayor for any length of time by August 31, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, this market will resolve to "No". This market refers to the first livestream where Zohran Mamdani speaks after market creation from the NYC Mayor's Office (https://www.youtube.com/@NYCMayorsOffice). Any livestream posted to that channel where Zohran Mamdani speaks will qualify. Any livestream posted to that channel where Zohran Mamdani does not speak will not qualify. Zohran Mamdani, now serving as New York City mayor, continues to center his public remarks on housing affordability and cost-of-living relief, driving the market's 51% consensus on "Afford / Affordable / Affordability" phrasing in his next live announcement before the August 31 resolution. Recent press conferences on MTA subway renovations, small-business grants, extreme-heat protections, and the contested pied-à-terre tax have reinforced this narrative, echoing his earlier Fighting Oligarchy tour themes and campaign focus on rent freezes and inequality. Traders watch for any shift toward safety, transit, or tax-specific language amid ongoing legal challenges to his policies and high public scrutiny of NYC's economic pressures. The tight timeline to the next scheduled briefing heightens sensitivity to fresh polling or breaking developments that could alter keyword momentum.
