Murtazali Magomedov enters as the undefeated featherweight prospect with an 11-0 record and 100 percent finish rate, highlighted by a first-round twister submission of Melsik Baghdasaryan in his June UFC debut. The Kyrgyzstani grappler averages over five takedowns and submissions per 15 minutes, creating a stylistic edge against Jose Delano, who brings a 17-3 mark and superior striking volume at 8.43 significant strikes landed per minute with 64 percent accuracy. Delano secured his UFC contract via Contender Series and followed with a unanimous decision win over Robert Ruchala in April, demonstrating durability and experience as a former Shooto Brazil champion. With both fighters at 1-0 in the Octagon, the bout tests Magomedov’s finishing ability against Delano’s volume striking and takedown defense on short notice at UFC Apex.
