Farès Ziam (18-5) enters the Sept. 5 lightweight co-main at UFC Paris on a short turnaround after dropping a unanimous decision to Tom Nolan in June that ended his six-fight win streak. The 29-year-old Frenchman brings superior UFC experience, a 6-2 octagon record, and strong finishing tools including a second-round TKO of Nazim Sadykhov. Axel Sola (12-1-1), also French and fighting in front of a home crowd at Accor Arena, arrives with momentum from a first-round D’Arce choke of Ismael Bonfim in July. The 28-year-old prospect owns six knockouts and two submissions but carries a March unanimous-decision loss to Mason Jones in his UFC tenure. Both fighters share comparable height and reach, with trader pricing reflecting Ziam’s edge in experience offset by Sola’s recent finishing rate and stylistic threat.
