Edson Barboza enters UFC 330 on a three-fight skid with recent first-round TKO and unanimous decision losses, while the 40-year-old veteran brings decades of lightweight experience and elite kickboxing. Esteban Ribovics, a younger finisher with seven knockouts and five submissions in his 15-3 record, returns after a second-round submission defeat to Mateusz Gamrot. Both fighters favor striking exchanges, but Ribovics' power and finishing rate contrast with Barboza's age-related durability questions. Recent media day comments highlight Barboza's focus on performance over retirement speculation, while Ribovics frames the matchup as a clash of styles in the lightweight division. The bout serves as a main-card opener at Xfinity Mobile Arena.
