Dan Hooker faces Salahdine Parnasse in the UFC Paris lightweight main event on September 5 at Accor Arena, where the former KSW two-division champion makes his Octagon debut. Parnasse enters on a strong run that includes a first-round knockout of Kenneth Cross in May, building significant hype around his speed, explosiveness, and finishing ability against a veteran coming off consecutive stoppage losses to Arman Tsarukyan and Benoit Saint Denis. Hooker, a 36-year-old with a 14-10 UFC record, holds advantages in reach, physicality, and five-round experience, which he believes can neutralize Parnasse’s pace over the longer distance. Trader consensus reflects these dynamics through heavy favoritism for the home-country prospect, tempered by the inherent unpredictability of a debutant facing seasoned competition.
