Steven Koslow enters as the slight favorite in this bantamweight prelim due to his elite submission threat and youth advantage over the 39-year-old Anheliger. Koslow has finished all six wins via first-round submission, primarily rear-naked chokes, though he returns after a four-year layoff following a third-round TKO loss to Cameron Saaiman in 2022. Anheliger brings greater UFC experience and a 13-8 record but has struggled with takedown defense in recent outings, including a unanimous decision defeat to Cody Gibson in November 2024. The Canadian fighter benefits from competing in his home province at Rogers Place in Edmonton, which could influence crowd energy and pacing. Both competitors carry extended absences that raise questions about ring rust and conditioning in what projects as a grappling-heavy matchup.
