Adam Livingston (7-1) enters the September 1, 2026, Dana White’s Contender Series lightweight main-card bout as a slight favorite over Hunter Smith (8-1), reflecting traders’ consensus on his 6’2” frame, reach advantage, and recent rebound. Livingston secured a second-round spinning-back-elbow knockout of Kyle Pufahl in May 2026 after a first-round submission loss on the 2025 series, bringing five career stoppages. Smith, a 5’9” power puncher from Louisiana with six knockouts, arrives on a four-fight win streak that includes two first-round TKOs and a unanimous decision, though his experience remains largely regional. Both fighters made weight at the official weigh-ins, with the three-round contest offering each a clear path to a UFC contract via finish or dominant performance.
