Travis Kelce, the 37-year-old Kansas City Chiefs tight end, has recorded 16 receptions for 246 yards and two touchdowns through the first four games of the 2026 season, leading the team in both catches and receiving yards while the Chiefs sit at 4-0. He has maintained a featured role in Patrick Mahomes' passing attack, with strong efficiency on limited targets per game, and enters the Week 5 bye week following a quiet two-catch outing against the Raiders. Teammates have highlighted his offseason conditioning and continued high-level production at an advanced age for the position. Upcoming factors include the post-bye matchup against the Chargers, the remaining schedule strength, and any potential shifts in offensive usage or target distribution amid the team's undefeated start and receiver injuries elsewhere on the roster. Historical data shows Kelce averaging well over 80 catches in recent full seasons when healthy.
