Travis Kelce, the 37-year-old Kansas City Chiefs tight end, has recorded two receiving touchdowns through the first five games of the 2026-27 regular season while posting 20 receptions for 299 yards. The Chiefs' high-powered offense led by Patrick Mahomes continues to feature him as a primary target, though wide receiver Xavier Worthy and others share opportunities in the passing game. Kelce sustained a minor right ankle tweak in Week 6 against the Chargers but returned to finish with four catches for 53 yards and is expected to be available, per head coach Andy Reid. Rashee Rice's hamstring absence could increase Kelce's red-zone and target share in upcoming matchups, including a Sunday Night Football road game against the Seahawks, while his veteran efficiency and the team's 5-0 start support steady production over the remaining schedule.
