The 2026 St. Petersburg mayoral election will be held on August 18, 2026, to elect the mayor of St. Petersburg, Florida. If no candidate receives a majority of the vote, a runoff election will be held on November 3, 2026. This market will resolve according to the candidate who becomes the next mayor of St. Petersburg as a result of this election. Temporary, interim, or placeholder mayors appointed before the election will not be considered. If the result of this election isn't known by April 30, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, the market will resolve to "Other". The primary resolution source for this market will be a consensus of credible reporting; however, if there is any ambiguity in the results, this market will resolve according to official information from the City of St. Petersburg or the State of Florida.

Charlie Crist holds an 87.5% implied probability in the St. Petersburg mayoral race due to his consistent lead in recent polling averages and substantial fundraising edge over incumbent Ken Welch ahead of the August 18 primary. Crist, a former Florida governor and U.S. representative, benefits from higher name recognition and reported hauls exceeding $1.6 million, while Welch has faced scrutiny during debates and lower support in head-to-head surveys around 17-19%. Other candidates trail significantly in both polls and market pricing. The primary outcome will determine whether a November runoff occurs, with trader consensus reflecting Crist's structural advantages in voter turnout and campaign resources as the election nears.
