The named candidates will be primarily ranked by the number of valid votes received in the specified election. This market will resolve to the candidate that occupies the highest finishing position after applying this ranking. If the Spartanburg County results of this election are not definitively known by December 31, 2026, this market will resolve to "Other." This market will resolve based on a consensus of credible reporting. If there is ambiguity, this market will resolve based solely on the official results as reported by the government of South Carolina, including the Election Commission and the government of Spartanburg County.

Ralph Norman holds a commanding lead in Spartanburg County for the August 25 South Carolina Republican Senate special primary runoff, reflecting his established base in the Upstate region that overlaps his 5th Congressional District. Primary results showed Norman outperforming other candidates in Spartanburg and nearby counties like Greenville and York, where local familiarity and conservative positioning provide an edge over Darline Graham Nordone's broader statewide name recognition as the late Sen. Lindsey Graham's sister and governor-appointed incumbent. Trump's endorsement of Nordone and recent support for Norman from figures like Mark Sanford have not shifted the county-level dynamics ahead of early voting. Trader consensus implies low odds of an upset, though unusually low turnout or late shifts in undecided voters could still alter the outcome before polls close.
