This market will resolve to "Yes" if the sitting Serbian National Assembly (Народна скупштина) is dissolved by the specified date, 11:59 PM ET. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No". The primary resolution source for this market is official information from the government of Serbia, however a consensus of credible reporting will also be used.
President Aleksandar Vučić’s June 27, 2026 announcement that he would resign within weeks and trigger early parliamentary elections—made amid sustained anti-government protests—remains the central driver of expectations around National Assembly dissolution. The president holds constitutional authority to dissolve parliament and schedule snap votes, originally due by December 2027. As of mid-August 2026, no dissolution has occurred; a recent no-confidence motion against the SNS-led government concluded without immediate action, and parliamentary sessions continue. Traders are watching for an official decree or Vučić’s formal resignation, which would start the 90-day window for presidential and parliamentary polls, potentially in autumn. Delays could reflect ongoing coalition management or opposition dynamics, while any confirmed dissolution date would directly resolve related markets.
