Both US Lecce and AS Roma enter the Serie A fixture with evenly matched implied probabilities for scoring first, driven by their shared emphasis on compact defensive structures and limited attacking output in recent campaigns. Lecce, positioned near the lower table standings, prioritizes organization at Stadio Via del Mare, often restricting opponents while generating few chances themselves. Roma, holding a higher standing, relies on possession control and set-piece threats but has frequently prevailed in low-scoring results against Lecce historically. This matchup dynamic, combined with both sides' recent form favoring clean sheets over high event games, sustains the tight contest and elevates the chance of a goalless outcome.
