This market will resolve based on the result of the election, as indicated by a consensus of credible reporting. If there is ambiguity, this market will resolve based solely on the official results as reported by the Brazilian government, specifically the Superior Electoral Court (Tribunal Superior Eleitoral, TSE) (e.g., www.tse.jus.br/eleicoes/resultados-eleicoes).
Teresa Surita holds a modest lead in the Roraima Senate race as the MDB's confirmed candidate following her party's August convention, though alliance fractures with Governor Soldado Sampaio—who publicly backed Pastor Isamar and Helena da Asatur—have introduced uncertainty and limited her consolidation of support. Multiple PL contenders, including Hélio Lopes (often referenced as Hélio Bolsonaro) and Nicoletti, draw from overlapping bases while smaller candidates such as Chico Rodrigues and Rogério Miranda further fragment the field ahead of the October 4 vote for the two seats. Traders price Surita as the narrow front-runner at 54% for first place, with Lopes at 37%, reflecting the competitive dynamics, limited recent polling separation, and potential for late shifts from endorsements or turnout among key regional blocs.
