The San Francisco 49ers’ undefeated 5-0 start and Week 1 27-7 road victory over the Los Angeles Rams in Australia have positioned them to control the season series, yet trader consensus prices a 1-1 split as the leading outcome. The Rams sit at 2-4 after consecutive narrow home losses marked by self-inflicted errors, turnovers, and inconsistent execution that have frustrated coach Sean McVay. Los Angeles’ offense, featuring Matthew Stafford, Puka Nacua, and Kyren Williams, has shown fourth-quarter resilience but lacks sustained balance, while defensive additions have not yet stabilized the unit. San Francisco’s efficient attack and stout defense, bolstered by Brock Purdy’s efficiency and contributions from Christian McCaffrey and Mike Evans, create a significant home-field edge in the December rematch at Levi’s Stadium. This contrast in recent form and roster health drives the current implied probabilities.
