The Vikings’ league-leading defense under coordinator Brian Flores and their 5-0 start give Minnesota a clear edge in the Week 15 road matchup at U.S. Bank Stadium, yet the Lions’ high-powered offense featuring Jared Goff, Jahmyr Gibbs, and Amon-Ra St. Brown, combined with home-field advantage at Ford Field in Week 8, supports trader consensus favoring Detroit to win the season series. Both teams face notable injury concerns, including Lions defensive backs Brian Branch and Kerby Joseph plus Vikings skill-position depth, while the NFC North’s competitive standings add playoff implications to each result. The split outcome remains plausible given the evenly matched talent and home/road dynamics across the two games.
