Both teams enter their Week 7 matchup at Ford Field at 3-2, with the Lions posting the NFL’s top scoring offense behind Jared Goff’s efficient passing and Jahmyr Gibbs’ ground production while the Packers rank mid-pack offensively but show defensive takeaways and resilience under Jordan Love. The home-and-away series format, combined with comparable projected win totals near 9–10 games and recent historical splits in the NFC North rivalry, keeps the implied probability of a tie at 48 percent and Lions at 45.5 percent in trader consensus. The late-season return game at Lambeau Field introduces weather and playoff-implication variables that further support expectations of a split over either side sweeping the series.
