The closely matched NFC North contenders are priced for a likely split in their two regular-season meetings, elevating the tie outcome. Both clubs enter with winning records—Chicago at 4-2 after Caleb Williams returned from a hamstring injury to lead a 31-23 win at Atlanta, and Detroit at 3-2 with the league’s highest-scoring offense (32.8 points per game) but a defense allowing 29.6 points per contest. The Thanksgiving matchup at Ford Field and the late-season return game at Soldier Field feature similar talent levels, recent divisional trends of tight results, and situational factors such as rest, travel, and January weather that support balanced expectations. Trader consensus reflects this parity rather than a clear edge for either side.
