Early in the 2026 NFL season, trader consensus reflects a wide-open race for the worst regular-season record, with numerous teams clustered near 47-49.5% implied probability. The Miami Dolphins sit at 0-5 or 0-6 after heavy defeats marked by poor offensive output and defensive lapses, while the Los Angeles Chargers share similar futility at 0-6 amid ongoing struggles on both sides of the ball. The Tennessee Titans (1-5), New York Jets (2-4), and others like the Houston Texans and Indianapolis Colts remain in contention due to inconsistent results, turnover issues, and injury impacts. Recent Week 6 outcomes, including blowout losses and narrow escapes, have sustained this bunched pricing as no single franchise has pulled decisively ahead in the standings.
This market will resolve according to the team that finishes the 2026-27 NFL regular season with the worst regular season record (the lowest winning percentage among all 32 teams). If at any point it becomes impossible for the listed team to finish the 2026-27 NFL regular season with the worst regular season record, the corresponding market will resolve to "No". If two or more teams finish tied for the worst regular season record, this market will resolve in favor of the tied team that is assigned the earliest selection position in the 2027 NFL Draft under the NFL's draft order tie-breaking procedures (strength of schedule, then the applicable divisional or conference tiebreakers), before accounting for any traded or forfeited selections. If the 2026-27 NFL regular season is cancelled, postponed after January 24, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, or the final regular season standings have not been officially determined within that timeframe, this market will resolve to "Other". The resolution source for this market will be official information from the NFL (https://www.nfl.com/); however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
