The 2026 NFL season's interceptions-thrown race remains tightly bunched in trader pricing because no quarterback has separated through the first six weeks, with volume passers like Justin Herbert (eight picks) facing pressure and turnover-worthy plays at elevated rates while others such as Drake Maye, Sam Darnold, and Daniel Jones show similar early spikes amid offensive-line and scheme adjustments. Interception totals hinge on factors including dropback volume, defensive coverage quality, accuracy under duress, and random variance in ball placement, all of which shift weekly and limit any single candidate's edge. Historical patterns show the leader often emerges from a crowded group of high-attempt QBs rather than one clear frontrunner, keeping implied probabilities clustered as the campaign progresses.
This market will resolve in favor of the player that finishes the 2026-27 NFL regular season with the most interceptions thrown. In the event of a tie, this market will resolve in favor of the tied player with a higher interception percentage (interceptions thrown divided by pass attempts) during the 2026-27 NFL regular season. If a tie still persists, this market will resolve in favor of the player with fewer passing touchdowns during the 2026-27 NFL regular season. If a tie still persists, this market will resolve to "Other". If the 2026-27 NFL season concludes early, is shortened, or is truncated for any reason, the outcome shall be determined using available NFL statistics for completed games. If the 2026-27 NFL regular season is cancelled, postponed after January 26, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, or it is unclear which player led the NFL in interceptions thrown within that timeframe, this market will resolve to "Other". The resolution source for this market will be official information from the NFL; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
