Buffalo Bills and Detroit Lions currently lead most advanced offensive efficiency metrics through Week 6 of the 2026 NFL season. The Bills post the highest opponent-adjusted EPA per play on offense in several datasets, driven by strong passing efficiency and explosive play rates, while the Lions rank close behind with balanced production. San Francisco 49ers and Kansas City Chiefs follow in raw and adjusted EPA figures, reflecting their high yards per play and success rates. Scoring offense rankings highlight the Bills and Lions at the top in points per game. Key variables ahead include remaining schedule strength, quarterback health, offensive line performance, and late-season adjustments that often shift final DVOA or EPA standings. Trader consensus reflects these early efficiency edges amid a competitive field.
