Early in the 2026 NFL season, trader sentiment for the best regular-season record reflects broad parity across the league. Multiple teams sit at or near the top through Week 6, including the undefeated Minnesota Vikings and San Francisco 49ers at 5-0, the Kansas City Chiefs at 4-0, and the Buffalo Bills, Jacksonville Jaguars, and Baltimore Ravens at 4-1. Several other clubs hover around .500 with records such as 3-2, keeping the field wide open. With 11 games remaining, recent results have produced no dominant frontrunner, as strong starts by NFC North and West teams are offset by competitive performances elsewhere and the inherent volatility of a 17-game schedule. This distribution of outcomes aligns with the bunched market prices, where no single squad commands a clear edge in implied probability.
This market will resolve according to the team that finishes the 2026-27 NFL regular season with the best regular season record (the highest winning percentage among all 32 teams). If at any point it becomes impossible for the listed team to finish the 2026-27 NFL regular season with the best regular season record, the corresponding market will resolve to "No". If two or more teams finish tied for the best regular season record, this market will resolve in favor of the tied team with the greater regular season point differential (points scored minus points allowed). If a tie still persists, this market will resolve in favor of the tied team with more regular season points scored. If a tie still persists, this market will resolve in favor of the tied team whose listed name comes first alphabetically. If the 2026-27 NFL regular season is cancelled, postponed after January 24, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, or the final regular season standings have not been officially determined within that timeframe, this market will resolve to "Other". The resolution source for this market will be official information from the NFL (https://www.nfl.com/); however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
